Quinta do Pôpa VV (Old Vines) 2014

Aroma: Concentration on the ripe black fruit (like cherry and plum) and a light touch of forest flowers and wild fruit (like raspberry and blueberry).

Palate: Consistency and expressiveness of tannin and acidity, from the entry to the end of the mouth; center of mouth concentrated and with good structure; its end is marked by the presence of smooth and round tannin, giving it longevity..

Pairing: Red Meat, wild boar stew, salted filet steak and other delicacies.

Ageing: 12 months of ageing in french oak barrels.

 

香味: 成熟的黑色水果（樱桃，李子）和少量的森林野花和野生浆果（覆盆子，蓝莓）

By blending the grapes from the Old Vines aged over 80 years and by using foot treading, this wine shows the uniqueness of its year and the performance of more than 21 varieties, existing only in that wine. It is a complex wine boasting with body, balanced acidity and great aging potential.
